Rigid Polycarbonate Sheet

Polycarbonate is a very durable material, many times tougher than glass, with excellent light transmission, fire performance and stability in temperature extremes. Of all glazing materials polycarbonate exhibits greatest resistance to impact over a temperature range of –20°C to +100°C. It is approximately 200 times more resistant to impact than glass.

Available as standard Polycarbonate with a limited external life, or as a UV2 protected product that carries a 10 year warranty against discolouration. Polycarbonate can be heat formed, but normally requires pre-drying as the product absorbs moisture.

Polycarbonate sheet has a class 1 fire rating (UL94), making it the preferred option for specifiers over products such as Acrylic sheet.

Structured Polycarbonate Sheet

Structured Polycarbonate sheet has all of the benefits of Rigid Polycarbonate sheet with respect to fire rating, impact strength, etc, with the added benefit due to the multi layer design of light weight and excellent thermal insulation properties. U values of 1.2W/m²K, are achievable, making this one of the most energy efficient glazing materials available, with better insulation properties than most triple glazing or argon filled double glazing, so is ideal for use as part of a heated structure.

A range of colour options including Clear, Bronze, Opal provide a choice of light transmission, with heat reflective options available also.

Structured Polycarbonate is extensively used in the domestic conservatory market in the UK, also a very popular choice in commercial applications such as covered walkways, trolley parks, and greenhouses.

Acrylic Sheet

Acrylic Sheet is a very versatile product, competitively priced and suitable for wide ranging applications. Available in Clear, that is tougher and optically clearer than float glass. All of our Acrylic sheets are UV protected making it an ideal product for external applications with a life expectancy in excess of ten years.

Easily cut and machined with conventional tooling, also suitable for thermoforming.

A wide range of sheet sizes are available for optimum economic usage Available in two grades, Cast Acrylic which has improved optical and machining properties, and Extruded Acrylic which has excellent clarity making it an ideal glazing product, extensively used in the POS/POP sector.

A wide range of Colours, Tints and specialist surface finishes are available.
